It is all too unusual to come across a mine site that has been rehabilitated to the extent that it can support arable agricultural fields.
I recently came across this case near Brits/Madibeng. I know it is an irrigation area and the black turf topsoil, that must have been set aside and then replaced, probably has special characteristics. But still nice to see a before and after picture arranged in this order.
